I totally am going to lose this, but hey, what could it hurt. Besides, I could always submit another one before the deadline, if I remember the rules right, so no big deal. I won't really give any details on this aside from the fact that this has to do with a story I'm trying to work out. Design influenced by too many JRPGs, and granted my disney binge recently, probably that as well. And yes, I find that style of sky to be both nifty and fun, even if it is cheap.

what comes to mind when i look at this is a combination of Sonic the hedgehog, due to the checkers and Nagrand from World of warcraft i think because of the twisted tree and purpley sky. But it's so pretty i really like how the figure just sits there looking out, you get a feeling of lonely serenity with having just her with the look of no land below her. awesome job and good luck with the deadline and all :).
